Fort Hunter Liggett in Monterey County, California is a military base that has been in operation since the early 1940’s. It is known for its beautiful natural landscape that features rolling hills, lush forests, and sprawling meadows. Although it is primarily known as a military base, Fort Hunter Liggett also has a few churches located within its boundaries. These churches serve both the military personnel and their families who live on the base as well as the local civilians who come to worship each week.
